September 1th, 2004 the Project begins!
On Wednesday the 707 simulator will be moved to the Augusta Air Museum to begin the restoration process. In preparation for the kick-off ceremony September 8th, 2004 the three anniversary of the final flight the Air Force One VC-137 Fleet.

Host Organization, Augusta Air Museum
The restoration of the the simulator will be at the Augusta Air Museum. The simulator will be on display during this process, so you can track the progress of the Air Force One 707 Simulator Project.

Currently the simulator is in Steve Cannaby's hanger awaiting the move, to begin the Air Force One transformation.
